Eurobodalla Hospital project team brings joy to sick kids

The Eurobodalla Regional Hospital project team recently brightened the lives of children visiting the Ronald McDonald Family Retreat in Batemans Bay with a donation of six new tricycles.

The tricycles were assembled during a team building exercise involving team members from the project team including Health Infrastructure, Southern NSW Local Health District, Multiplex and RP Infrastructure, with each participant using only one hand.

Health Infrastructure Executive Director, Rural and Regional, Amanda Bock said Ronald McDonald House Charities do incredible work supporting sick children and their families and the donation of the tricycles is a meaningful way for us to show support.

"The team-building exercise was a fantastic way to foster collaboration and teamwork among the project team, and we were thrilled to be giving back to the community,” Ms Bock said.

The NSW Government has committed $330 million to the new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital which will deliver a sustainable, modern and purpose-built hospital to support the needs of the entire Eurobodalla Shire from Narooma to Batemans Bay.

The new hospital is under construction and is expected to be completed in 2027
