First look at Milton Ulladulla Hospital upgrade

The Milton and Ulladulla communities have been given their first look at the latest designs for the $7.5 million upgrade of Milton Ulladulla Hospital.

The upgrade will deliver improved health infrastructure to meet the healthcare needs of the local Shoalhaven community.

The project includes a new CT scanner and modernised medical imaging spaces to provide enhanced diagnostic capabilities.

Construction of the upgraded medical imaging space and installation of the new CT scanner is expected to start later this year, following the appointment of a building contractor.

In addition to the $7.5 million upgrade of Milton Ulladulla Hospital, $438 million has been invested in the Shoalhaven Hospital Redevelopment to create a health hub for the Shoalhaven region and reduce the need to transfer patients to Wollongong and Sydney.

Additionally, more than $780 million is being invested in the new Shellharbour Hospital and Integrated Services Project, which will provide contemporary healthcare services for residents to access.
