Site announced for Berowra Ambulance Station

The Berowra community is a step closer to having a new purpose-built ambulance station following the purchase of a site on the Pacific Highway.

The new station will provide vital health services to Berowra, surrounding communities, and M1 commuters in Northern Sydney.

The new station will bolster emergency care in Berowra and surrounding communities and provide a first-class workplace for local paramedics.

It will also improve network coverage in the area and support existing stations including the ambulance stations at Wahroonga and Hawkesbury River.

Health Infrastructure and NSW Ambulance carried out a thorough evaluation of the site to ensure the location best meets the needs of the local community alongside emergency ambulance operations and paramedic staff.

The project will progress through design development and planning approval, with construction and operational timeframes determined later.

This Berowra ambulance station is part of the NSW Government’s NSW Ambulance Infrastructure Program, which will deliver 30 additional stations across the state.
