Hitting a major milestone for communities of Mudgee and surrounds, construction on the NSW Government’s $70.7 million Mudgee Hospital redevelopment has reached its highest point!

Health Infrastructure’s project team joined the District and hospital staff to celebrate the occasion with a ‘topping out’ ceremony on the building’s new rooftop.

Once complete the new building will include:
  • emergency department
  • maternity unit
  • general medical and surgical unit
  • peri-operative service
  • ambulatory care
  • oral health, renal dialysis and oncology.
With main building works are on track for completion in 2020, regional and remote communities of Western NSW are set to benefit from improved essential health services closer to home for decades to come.
