Site announced for $5.9 million Pottsville Ambulance Station

5 April, 2018

The location of the first ambulance station for the community of Pottsville was unveiled yesterday.

The proposed site at 1128 Pottsville Road, Pottsville will enable local NSW Ambulance paramedics to better meet the demand for emergency medical care in Pottsville and the surrounding area.

"It’s always great to hear local paramedics endorse the project, and talk about how the new station will make such a positive impact on their everyday working environment,” said Project Director at Health Infrastructure, Anthony Dimech.

Once completed, the new Pottsville station will include:
  • Internal parking for up to four emergency ambulance vehicles
  • Logistics and storage areas
  • Relief accommodation
  • Staff parking
  • Deliveries and loading bay.
