Culcairn MPS site inspected by Premier Gladys Berejiklian

Premier Gladys Berejiklian this week inspected progress on the new Culcairn Multipurpose Service, which will deliver first-class health care and facilities for older residents.

The Residential Aged Care works were completed earlier this month and include 16 new rooms, a dining room, lounge areas and a courtyard.

“The Culcairn MPS will make a big difference in people’s lives with contemporary living spaces that provide a homelike environment for our senior citizens,” she said.

This redevelopment is part of a $300 million program underway across a number of rural and remote communities in NSW.

Senior Project Director at Health Infrastructure, Amanda Bock has described the new facilities as a great success.

“It was fantastic to see the residents having moved into their new rooms and enjoying the additional space and enhanced amenity. They seemed to feel quite at home and warmly welcomed the Premier to the new area,” she says.
