Health Infrastructure built a new state-of the-art clinical services building to provide additional capacity and outpatient services at Concord Hospital to meet the current and future health needs of the diverse Inner West community.
OVERVIEW
The Concord Hospital Redevelopment – Stage 1 project delivered a new eight-storey clinical services building that will reflect the hospital’s history and architectural significance.
The new building houses a world class cancer centre, increased rehabilitation services and improved access to new aged care services including ambulatory care clinics, therapy areas and specialised rehabilitation gyms. This improved clinical integration and care coordination helps patients achieve better health outcomes and reduces the need to travel to multiple locations.
The NSW Government invested $341 million to redevelop the Concord Hospital – Stage 1.
