The NSW Government has committed $20 million to deliver a modern, integrated, and convenient health service for the Batemans Bay community.
Batemans Bay Community Health will:
- Provide a sustainable, purpose-built community health service for the Batemans Bay and surrounding community.
- Work together with the new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital, to ensure the community has access to the right health care in the right setting.
- Use the latest technology and models of care to deliver patient-centred health services close to home.
As planning and design nears completion, the project was placed on public exhibition from 18 November to 16 December 2024.
As part of the public exhibition, the project’s Review of Environmental Factors (REF) report, which has been prepared to assess the potential benefits and environmental impacts of the project, was available for feedback.
4 submissions were received during the public exhibition period and informed the final REF conditions and mitigation measures as documented in the REF Submissions Report
Planning has been approved on Batemans Bay Community Health project.
Feedback received during the public exhibition of the Review of Environmental Factors (REF) was carefully considered and documented. This feedback informed the final REF conditions and mitigation measures, as detailed in the REF Submissions Report, which was provided to the redevelopment project team and Southern NSW Local Health District.

The tender for the main construction works has been awarded to Monarch Building Solutions following a competitive tender process, with construction anticipated to start in the coming months.
