Health Infrastructure is redeveloping Bowral and District Hospital to provide expanded clinical services and capacity to meet healthcare needs of the Southern Highlands communities.
OVERVIEW
Bowral and District Hospital Redevelopment – Stage 2 commenced in early 2020 with the inclusion of a new central sterilising services department and pharmacy.
A new renal unit was completed in early 2022.
Works are now underway for the remainder of Stage 2.
To minimise disruption to the operational facility, the project is being delivered in a phased construction sequence with works expected to be completed progressively between 2024 and 2025.
The NSW Government is investing $55 million in the Bowral and District Hospital – Stage 2 Redevelopment. This follows the completion of Stage 1 in December 2020.
