Health Infrastructure is delivering infrastructure and technology solutions as part of the HealthOne program to improve access to primary integrated healthcare services in 20 communities across NSW.
OVERVIEW
The HealthOne Program brings together a variety of healthcare providers to improve patient access to services at the local community level and increase overall efficiency of the health system.
The HealthOne model facilitates the bringing together of general practice, community health services and allied health practitioners in multidisciplinary teams to deliver an integrated health approach.
Health Infrastructure is overseeing delivery of the program, with local health districts (LHDs) directly managing the delivery of most projects – both infrastructure, and information communications and technology (ICT).
The NSW Government is investing $100 million in the HealthOne program.

The program is:
- Delivering integrated care provided by general practice and community health services

- Delivering healthcare across a spectrum of needs from prevention to continuing care
- Increasing patient, staff and community involvement.
SCOPE
The program includes:
- 12 infrastructure projects have been completed at Port Stephens, Bowraville, Evans Head, Dapto, Ulladulla , Buronga, Green Square, Merrylands, Nambucca, Camden Haven, St Clair and Tibooburra.
- Six ICT projects have been completed at Dareton, Urunga, Bonny Hills, Lithgow, Jordan Springs, , Ocean Shores
- One infrastructure project is in planning for the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District
- One ICT project is in delivery at Oran Park.
