Health Infrastructure is redeveloping the Gunnedah Hospital to provide new facilities and upgraded clinical services to service the Gunnedah community now and into the future.
The NSW Government has committed $53 million to redevelop Gunnedah Hospital.
BENEFITS
The project will:
- Offer contemporary facilities to support best practice models of care
- Provide patients, families and carers a first-class facility to meet the health needs of the community now, and into the future.
SCOPE
The project includes:
- A new acute services building on the existing hospital campus
- Emergency Department
- Birthing, maternity and inpatient unit
- A new main entry and reception will be created through refurbishment of a former entry.
