Best practice standards for Arts In Health released

Australasian Health Facility Guidelines (AusHFG) for integrating arts in health infrastructure projects have been updated to include the latest information on best practice standards for planning, commissioning, designing and evaluating art projects.

Experiencing art in any form can be highly beneficial for patient and staff health and wellbeing, and through its use in health promotion, art can improve health literacy for people and communities.

Thank you to the many clinical, operational, and technical experts who contributed to revising the Arts in Health Framework.

As administrator of the Australasian Health Infrastructure Alliance (AHIA), Health Infrastructure oversees the development of the Australasian Health Facility Guidelines (AusHFG) that form the basis for planning and design of healthcare facilities across Australia and New Zealand.
