Artists impressions for Cowra Hospital

Artist impressions have been unveiled for the new Cowra Hospital, showcasing the design for the redevelopment, which will be built on the existing site and provide modernised health services and facilities for patients, staff and the local community. 

The hospital will deliver an emergency department, general medical and surgery inpatient ward, maternity unit, oral health clinic, renal dialysis, community and allied health, Mental Health services, Tresillian inpatient beds.     

The hospital will be designed over two-levels, including improved access and onsite parking, new landscaped areas and enhanced views for patients and visitors.  

Lipman has been awarded the early works contract. Main construction works for the redevelopment is expected to start in 2023 after early works are completed.  

The NSW Government funding of the Cowra Hospital redevelopment is part of the record $11.9 billion investment in health infrastructure over four years to 2025-26, with nearly a third of the capital allocation in this financial year going towards regional and rural health facilities.
