The $200 million Eurobodalla Health Service is another step closer for the Eurobodalla community with a preferred site identified in south-east Moruya.
The announcement marks a significant milestone for the project following extensive site investigations and consultation with the community.
Consultation with the community and consumers, local Aboriginal groups and key stakeholders including Transport for NSW and the Eurobodalla Shire Council helped identify the preferred site in south-east Moruya.
Stakeholders, health service staff and community members are being asked to visit the
interactive site map to explore the preferred site location, provide feedback and ask questions.
The project team appointed to begin the planning stage of the project comprise of Health Infrastructure, Southern NSW Local Health District, Root Partnerships, Conrad Gargett and Genus Advisory.
The $200 million allocated to deliver the new Eurobodalla Health Service builds on the NSW Government’s extensive investment in health facilities across the district, including the
$18.6 million for the Cooma Hospital redevelopment, the redevelopment of
Yass Hospital and
Braidwood Multipurpose Service, and the
$150 million Goulburn Hospital and Health Service Redevelopment.
