New parking designs at Dubbo Hospital unveiled

Thursday 5 November 2020

Dubbo Hospital’s major redevelopment has unveiled concept designs for more than 350 parking spaces.

The $30 million parking project will deliver a new multi-storey car park on the western side of the hospital campus and a new car park on the south eastern side.

Funding includes local artwork for the car park façade and infrastructure upgrades such as roadways, footpaths, hospital access, lighting and security.

When complete, the new car parks will support one of NSW’s busiest regional hospitals and will benefit Western Cancer Centre patients seeking life-saving treatment and diagnostic services closer to home.

Construction of the new car parks at Dubbo Hospital is scheduled to start in 2021 and will take approximately 12 months to complete.

The NSW Government is currently delivering the $150 million Dubbo Hospital Redevelopment Stages 3 and 4 and the $35 million Western Cancer Centre Dubbo, which includes a $25 million contribution from the Federal Government. Both projects are on track for completion in 2021.
