For the first time all major health services will be under one roof, and has been designed to improve the experience for Griffith and surrounding communities.

The Clinical Services Building features:

  • improved emergency department

  • significant increase in aged care and rehabilitation beds

  • new operating theatres

  • surgical, and medical inpatient units; including four beds to support patients aged 16 years and over requiring short term care for their mental health wellbeing

  • maternity, medical imaging and paediatrics

  • expanded outpatient services with more specialist clinics, renal and oncology services

  • a new car park.

Health Infrastructure and the Murrumbidgee Local Health District are working closely with contractor, ADCO Constructions, with construction already underway. Health services will continue without interruption during construction of the new Clinical Services Building.
