Schematic designs for the $120m Goulburn Base Hospital and Health Service Redevelopment have been completed and are now available for the local community to inspect.
The Goulburn Base Hospital Redevelopment will deliver first class care in purpose-built facilities long into the future. It will include improved capacity through fit-for-purpose infrastructure including the Emergency Department, intensive care unit and theatres, inpatient services and a comprehensive ambulatory care service.
To date, more than 1500 people, including staff and community groups have been consulted as part of the redevelopment process. The most recent consultation has been in regards to schematic design where 15 Project User Groups were formed to work on each specific area of care within the new facility.
In conjunction with the design launches, community drop-in sessions will be held on Thursday 30 Nov and Saturday 1 December to answer any questions members of the community might have.
