Manning Hospital reaches new milestone

26 August 2019
.
In good news for the communities of Taree and the Manning Valley region, the NSW Government's $40 million Manning Hospital Redevelopment Stage 1 has reached a new milestone.

With construction completed on the project's new medical imaging floor late last year,  work has now kicked off on its fitout as well as refurbishment of the hospital's main entry.

Delivering enhanced health services to local communities, the project's new medical imaging floor will include two x-ray rooms, Orthopantomogram (OPG) room, fluoroscopy room, CT scanning room, MRI, two ultrasound rooms, six consultation rooms and general administration and support areas for associated clinical services.

The refurbished hospital entrance will provide an upgraded entry to the hospital including improved access.

On track for completion in mid-2020, Stage 1 has already delivered a new, purpose-built facility with enhanced cancer care and renal dialysis services, new patient and staff carpark, and enhanced access for patients.
