.
After an extensive recruitment process, NSW Health Secretary, Elizabeth Koff and Health Infrastructure’s Chairman, Lucio de Bartolomeo, were delighted to announce the appointment of Rebecca Wark as our new Chief Executive in May 2019.

With a genuine commitment to improving access to public health care across NSW, Rebecca brings to the role a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Having joined HI in 2008, Rebecca has progressed through various senior roles to take up the reins of Chief Executive.

Previously Executive Director of Rural and Regional projects, Rebecca spent many years working in country areas delivering critical health infrastructure and overseeing the NSW Government’s record investment in regional health.

She has led major infrastructure projects across the public and private sectors, working on health, justice, residential and environmental projects. Her first public sector role was planning and delivering venues for the Sydney 2000 Olympics.

Rebecca has also completed studies in landscape architecture and project management, and mentors women and young people working in business and construction.

The team at HI looks forward to working with Rebecca to deliver Australia’s largest capital program of health infrastructure and so much more. Congratulations!
